These newspapers are the end result of a type design project, and have just arrived back from Newspaper Club.

Our brief was to select a set of related objects, from which we would then produce a family of pictograms. These pictograms were to provide the basis for a set of glyphs for an unknown language/writing system. I chose to base my final glyphs on an Armenian typeface, Maral.
