Fedrigoni Scalextric Night
The nice folk at Fedrigoni paper put on a fantastic evening’s entertainment in the form of a six lane Scalextric championship. We were there in force trying our best to bring home the Gold(ish) Trophy, which was on display, somewhat distractingly, track side. Things were looking good for a while as I posted a 1:16 time over 10 laps. Mark chipped in with a 1:14 but the times kept tumbling. Helen was non-gracious in her victorious race as Noel and Lucy succumbed to taunts by the race controller. An impressive 1:10 by a non KentLyons employee prompted severely floored plans to steal the coveted prize instead.
Many thanks to Fedrigoni for a fun night, and for firmly implanting Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain” in our heads. Good times all round.
